+ Nostalgic feelings:
Since it was only a HD-remastered version, you could say that the layout of stages in Contra: Evolution remained the same as they were in the old NES version. You could easily realize the old enemies and old hidden secret places as if they were just yesterday.
However, due to the difficulty of controlling via the touchscreen mechanic, the difficulty in Contra: Evolution was toned down a little, and this isn’t bad by any mean. If you still remember the frustrating feeling of dying non-stop in the old game, don’t be afraid – things are much brighter these days, litertally.[space space_height=”20″]
+ HD-quality graphics:
Contra: Evolution is indeed a fine HD-remastered piece, since it wasn’t just the same old 8-bits game anymore. You can enjoy the old feelings with a brand new graphics – isn’t that great?
Eventhough the quality of graphics and visual effects were effectively improved, Contra: Evolution still runs smoothly on old models of smartphone.[space space_height=”20″]
+ Detestable freemium:
Being a mobile game, you can’t expect Contra: Evolution to be entirely free – actually it is. The most challenge in old games are the number of times you could die – fear no more, since with this mobile version, as long as you invest money, you will never die since lives could be bought easily in Contra: Evolution. Who’s your daddy now, stupid alien bosses?[space space_height=”20″]
