[dropcap style=”style1″]I[/dropcap]t’s finally here! “Fallout Shelter” is now available for Android, Mole rats and Deathclaws will now be harassing your vault more than ever.

Vietgame.asia – When Bethesda surprise announced Fallout Shelter — the free-to-play mobile vault management sim — during E3 in June and said it would be available that very day, fans cheered. But the catch was: It was only available for iOS. It turns out same day surprises still have some limitations.

But then, at a Fallout panel at QuakeCon last month, Bethesda announced the Android release of Fallout Shelter and detailed some of the improvements coming to that version, as well as the iOS version.

On the iOS side of things. The Fallout Shelter 1.1 update hit early this morning. Mole rats and Deathclaws will now be harassing your vault, so if your dwellers aren’t armed and armored up yet, now is a good time. They also added the robot Mr. Handy, which you buy via IAP. One Mr. Handy will run you $0.99, while a pack of five is $3.99. Basically, the robot putters around your vault automatically “clicking” on rooms for you, so you’ll get water, power, and food without needing to do anything.
