Coming from a Polish developer 11 Bit Studios – currently well-known with Anomaly games – This War of Mine is a story about unhappy lives, innocent people keeps struggling with cold, hunger, fire and sword in a civil war.

Since the release in November last year, This War of Mine has left a deep impression on every gamer, concurrently a true and huge statue in adventurous game series with its unique gameplay and nice graphic. That did not count the very practical contribution to community, particularly to orphaned children because of world war of 11 Bit Studios by its famous DLC War Child.
Having such success above, 11 Bit Studios has decided to bring This War of Mine to the iOS and Android platform and adjustment to the control mechanism which is suitable for touch screen. So, will This War of Mine in tablet version can live the advantages of the “brother” and bring to gamer emotional experience? Let us just find out!

The greatest thing in This War of Mine is the diversification of the plot, even the opening or ending. Every character has his or her different life, personality, feeling and response to events which happened, is happening or will happen with specific endings. With more than 12 characters (not counting on characters that players made themselves), This War of Mine could bring hundreds or even thousands of different scenarios and happening, based on choices of players.
Interestingly, smallest characteristics such as loving drinking coffee of Katia, or Bruno being a heavy smokers also have a certain affect to their state of mind, specially in those lacking, tough situations. Besides, we should count the strength of fast runner Pavle, mastering ability to use guns of Roman or the health of Marko… The right choice of work for members in the group not only helps increase productivity of working but also helps them out surviving on going out finding essential items at nights, because sometimes running away is the best solution.
The decisions of gamer in dead-or-alive situation are the pressing point that cannot be ignored. Will it be right to help people out when even you find it hard as well? Stealing is good or bad in this time? Will you lie to save a person or respect the truth and dare to watch someone die?
Just remember, every action has its own result. The decision might not be right in this case but it is not sure to suits other cases. And characters will react strongly to those good or bad situation: they can feel better, be happier leading to better ability to suffer at that time, or they may be so sad, sorrow, leaving you and even commit to suicide.
The very truth and that humanity essence has turn This War of Mine to become one of the best adventurous game in recent years.
Unique graphic – Haunting sounds
The graphic basis is so impressive and so suitable in this context of war. That clear contrast between light and shade together with raw lines of painting have expressed fully the dull, cruel world in chaos. Devastated cities, hunger, shivers every day haunts and threaten people, all is described perfectly
On the other hand, it is impossible to ignore the background music and sounds, which are truly suits the situation, pictures of This War of Mine. Some disadvantages
This War of Mine is a transforming product from the PC version and therefore has some weaknesses.
The fisrt is the mechanism of auto-saving daily function. This could be made on purpose of developers, every decision has dramatic results and cannot be changed. However, 11 bit Studios completely could create an option between auto save or manual save for players to choose the best way as they want, especially when finishing the game and wanting more endings.
Another limitation is the interaction between characters. Even though always expressing hate – love decisions of players, those characters have no conversation to each other and just talk to themselves.
Contradictions are not so well shown clearly, despite you taking all foods, convenience for only one person, leaving others with nothing every single day. This errors is not worth having and has destroyed the realistic basis of This War of Mine.
