[dropcap style=”style1″]T[/dropcap]he collectible card game “Triple Triad” from Final Fantasy VIII has hit smartphones, but only in Japan.

Vietgame.asia – If there’s one Final Fantasy mini-game that would be just about perfect for smartphones, it’s Triple Triad, the delightfully addictive card game that debuted in Final Fantasy VIII and recently reappeared in the online game FFXIV, can now be played for free in the Final Fantasy Portal app.

This clearly modernized version of Triple Triad includes cards that feature several characters from more recent Final Fantasy games.
