[dropcap style=”style1″]A[/dropcap] tweet from the official “Hearthstone” account shows an animation of the bottom slot of the main menu transforming into an active (but currently blank) button.
Vietgame.asia – The slot has been empty for quite a while, but Blizzard has just now teased actual plans for it. That could mean this is something that has been in the works for a while. Plus, the fact that it would be a fourth main menu option seems to imply a large change for Hearthstone.
More optimistic fans have speculated it could be a new mode or improved stat tracking, while others have suggested it will simply be devoted to the cosmetic DLC announced last week.
Blizzard has tended to follow its teases with full announcements quickly when it comes to Hearthstone. Last week it teased the new hero and followed up with the official word within a day. The first new Hero to be revealed is the fearsome Warrior Magni Bronzebeard, the King of Ironforge.
Featuring new artwork, animations, and voices (hopefully including more great Scottish accents like the one above), the optional additions will also introduce new battlecry emotes, new play areas, and shiny new card backs. Each new Hero will cost $9.99 in the US, with UK pricing yet to be announced.IGN.
