[dropcap style=”style1″]L[/dropcap]udosity has announced “Ittle Dew 2” – the sequel to its Zelda-inspired cartoon dungeon crawler Ittle Dew. No platforms have been announced yet but the first game came out on PC, Wii U, iOS, and Android.
Vietgame.asia – It seems that Ittle Dew 2 will be very similar to the first game. The description on the game’s website reads: “Ittle and Tippsie crash onto yet another island filled with loot, puzzles and mysterious inhabitants.” So, it’s the same thing all over again.
There are some differences. Of course there are. For starters, you’ll be helping Ittle and Tippsie to steal eight pieces of a raft in order to escape the island. You do this with a magical map guiding the way. However, you can completely ignore its suggested route and enter the first seven dungeons in any order you like.
There is a catch. In order to get into these seven dungeons you’ll need to find the right items and know how to use them to open up various shortcuts. “The craftiest of adventurers have more than one way to open a locked door,” teases the website.
Speaking of items, there will be four weapons that also double up as puzzle items, and they can all be upgraded as you explore the island. However, this is also optional, as the game can be beat in its entirety by only using the starting equipment.
As well as naming no platforms for Ittle Dew 2, Ludosity hasn’t announced a release date either, but it says that it’ll be coming soon.
