Vietgame.asia – DeNA’s CEO Isao Moriyasu told Reuters that “We haven’t talked to Nintendo about targets, but at DeNA, our best-selling game brought in 3 billion Yen ($25 million) a month, and we want to surpass that.”
The game in question is Kaito Royale, a big-in-Japan smartphone title that was eventually turned in to a TV series. While neither company has divulged how revenues will be divvied up, analysts have reportedly pre-sliced Nintendo’s share of revenue into a 70 percent chunk.
“We want to create games that will be played by hundreds of millions of people,” said Moriyasu.
“We want to create multiple hit games rather than aiming to succeed with just one powerful IP element.”
The first game sprung from Nintendo and DeNA’s partnership is expected to be launched on mobile devices some time in 2015.[su_icon_panel background=”transparent” border=”1px none #cccccc” shadow=”0px 0px 0px #eeeeee” icon=”icon: html5″ icon_color=”#1f6dc9″ icon_size=”70″ url=”http://dena.com/intl/”][/su_icon_panel][su_icon_panel background=”transparent” border=”1px none #cccccc” shadow=”0px 0px 0px #eeeeee” icon=”icon: facebook-square” icon_color=”#1f6dc9″ icon_size=”70″ url=”https://www.facebook.com/mobage”][/su_icon_panel]Thanks, Pocketgamer.Images by Google.
