[dropcap style=”style1″]P[/dropcap]repare to endure dangerous environments, hunger, and madness when popular survival game “Don’t Starve Pocket Edition” releases this week.

Vietgame.asia – We’ve been hearing rumblings about Don’t Starve, the survival game from Klei Entertainment, coming to iOS. And now, we have confirmation that it’s happening, and it’s happening this week.

Don’t Starve Pocket Edition is coming this week on July 9th. It’s going to be for iPad only, but it will feature the full content of the original PC version, including the Reign of Giants expansion, which introduces new playable characters, new biomes to discover, and of course giants to avoid and fight.

Don’t Starve Pocket Edition has been made with a new touch-friendly control scheme to let you play the entire game with touch. We’ll see if it supports MFi controllers as well, and maybe an iPhone edition could happen someday.

Still, it’ll be a fraction of the cost of the versions on other platforms, so this should prove to be quite a bargain for a remarkably well-regarded game in the ever-popular survival genre.

Don’t Starve Pocket Edition will require at least an iPad 3 or iPad mini 2 to play, and will cost £3.99/$4.99 when it releases on July 9th.
