Sau khi đạt khá nhiều thành công trên hệ PC, Stardew Valley đã sẵn sàng để lấn sân sang hai hệ PS4 và Xbox One trong tháng 12 tới. Tuy nhiên, tựa game lại gây thất vọng với người chơi Wii U khi nhà phát triển ConcernedApe xác nhận hủy bỏ phiên bản này.
Dự kiến, Stardew Valley bắt đầu nhận đặt trước vào 30/11 và sẽ phát hành cho console vào ngày 13/12.
Dù làm người chơi Wii U thất vọng, nhưng đội ngũ phát triển cho biết họ phải ra quyết định khó khăn này khi Nintendo công bố hệ máy mới là Switch.
