[dropcap style=”style1″]S[/dropcap]hadowbug is the work of three-person development house Muro Studios, and as of this past weekend the beta version of the game has just gone live.
Vietgame.asia – Shadowbug is a ninja-themed action-adventure game with a similar silhouetted visual style to games like Limbo or Badland, but with an attack-linking combat system which has been used in plenty of games but immediately reminded us of the targeting system in the Sonic 4 games.
You play as the eponymous Shadow Bug and tap on enemies to dash over and slash them with a pair of over-sized swords. Timing looks to be important. Obstacles will block your path to each enemy so you’ll have to choose your moment of attack wisely. There’s a three star rating system so you have to keep an eye on the time and try to collect as many shiny orbs as you whizz through the levels.
Shadow Bug will launch on iOS at some point in late 2015. If you’re interested in checking out the beta version of Shadowbug for yourself (and you are at least 13 years old), you can sign up for the beta on their website.
