[dropcap style=”style1″]I[/dropcap]t’s been a long time coming, but as was announced last week, Funcom have released “LEGO Minifigures Online” into the App Store.
Vietgame.asia – LEGO Minifigures Online is an MMO-like adventure which features a vast array of the crazy characters and locations from the world of LEGO.
LEGO Minifigures Online was originally revealed way back in August of 2013, and officially launched on desktop platforms in October of last year as a free to play game. However, Funcom didn’t like the direction the game was going, so they made a couple of pretty big changes to the game.
The biggest change is that LEGO Minifigures Online is no longer a free to play game. On iOS, that means you’ll pay $4.99 for the initial download, and then additional worlds are available as IAP purchases. No consumable currencies, no energy timer bullcrap. Just buy-once additional content packs.
The other big change includes an overhaul of the story, which now features narration, cutscenes, and a more cohesive flow. As the name implies, LEGO Minifigures Online does require an internet connection to play as there’s a persistent world that lives online and works cross-platform between the desktop version and the newly-released mobile version.
If you’re into the LEGO games and are looking for an adventure you should definitely give LEGO Minifigures Online a try.
