[dropcap style=”style1″]V[/dropcap]ainglory, the multiplayer online battle arena game designed for mobile devices, has officially launches on Android and iOS.

Vietgame.asia – The game has already built up a sizable community — Vainglory had more than 1.5 million monthly active users in May, developer Super Evil Megacorp announced.

“Our players and community have always come first, and we’ve taken the past eight months to listen to feedback, develop a robust set of features, heroes and content and ultimately deliver an unforgettable MOBA experience for touch, just like a PC title would do with a beta period,” said Bo Daly, CEO and co-founder of Super Evil Megacorp.

Riot Games‘ League of Legends, a massively popular MOBA, reached the mark of 4 million active users in July 2011, more than 20 months after launch. Super Evil Megacorp soft-launched Vainglory on iOS eight months ago in November, and has been refining the game since then.

Vainglory made it into the list of the 100 highest-grossing games on the App Store for the first time. The full launch today brings Vainglory to more than 150 Android devices in addition to iOS, and the game supports play across both platforms.

Vainglory version 1.6 update also introduces an additional hero, Rona (image above), a new skins system, and separate queues for casual and ranked matches. Plus, newbies will be able to check out 30 tutorial videos in Vainglory‘s expanded Academy.

Vainglory is now available on App Store and Google Play.
